Filter Name - UK No1
Filter String - comment contains "UK No1"

Filter Name - My Mixes
Filter String - comment contains "Mymix"

* You can name the filters what ever you want - I just used what you were looking for...

Have fun....

Thanks cstoll, works a treat on "Mymix", although UK No 1 is not as successful. In the comment field is is written like this - (UK No 1), when I type that in, it gives me a syntax error!?
Would be great to be able to pull up all the UK No 1's in this way.

Ok, well your example originally didn't have a space in between 'No' and '1'. Also, when using multiple words you have to use the Quotes. I wrote the examples as you should have typed them or copy and paste them. So here is the corrected one based on your info. And, I tested it...

Filter Name - UK No 1
Filter String - comment contains "(UK No 1)"

Of course, originally I was just throwing my thoughts in the air! I don't know too much about syntax, but I just tried your suggestion with the quotes and It works fine. I now have a very tidy list of all the UK No 1's. Very handy!
These filters are just awsome!
Thank you cstoll, you are without doubt one of the most attentive and helpful users here. Dave.

Songs under a certain time range.

For example, this filter will show songs under three minutes excluding songs that have a zero length.

songlen<180 and songlen !=0

Song length is in seconds. You could also add an argument to filter songs that are less than 10 seconds, etc...

P.S. There needs to be more of an explanation of the different variables used like songlen. I had to play with it a little to guess that it used seconds.

No, none currently. How ever possibly a new feature for a future release.

What is a 'cons' ?

top 50 nbplay < gives you the top 50 played based on the number of times you have played each track.

Is there a way to filter tracks that does NOT contain something? For example I have a track which genre is "pop;ballad"

and i want to filter tracks which genre is "pop" but not ballad, is it possible?

i tried:
"genre contains pop and !(genre contains ballad)" but it has syntax error.

I have videos sorted by year. They are then broken down by type. The filepath would look like this (D:\PO HV 2006\rock\) What filter can I use to show just the rock folders from all the years? Thanks.

(filepath starts with "D:\\PO HV")and (filepath contains "\\rock")and (type=video)

Copy this as is and use it.
