Thanks for the comment, to tell you the truth, I'm not fully satisfied with the sound of my Mobile System, in fact, I'm planing to replace the Peavy 18" bass for Cerwin vega's and the Peavy projects for 1 MP418 SP ( JBL 18" sub with 600 crown amp inside) and 1 MP418S ( JBL 18" passive sub than can be powered with the amp of the MP418SP ) this is just for space and ease of transportation and set up, besides, the JBL sound awesome for a 300 watt RMS Sub. it feels like a lot , lot, lot more than that.
As for the mid/high end, the D.A.S. amplified speakers sound very clear and neat, they are 350 watts RMS each, but with a cut off frequency of 80 hrz. you can really turn up the volume and they don't have any distortion whatsoever. I will post in a little while my set up diagram .
And 1 last thing, believe me I know what a Car Audio system should sound as I was the former Director of USACI ( United States Autosound Competition International ) Guatemala about 5 years ago. so no wonder I'm addicted to BASSSSSS !!!!!!...jajajajaja

I have a slight addiction to bass as well, one day a mate of mine brought over his subs and his amps.. and with a bit of mucking around, we ended up with two Kicker Comp 12'', two U.S Audio 10'' and three 8'' un-named subs thumping away.. the amps got realy quite hot :S.

@gregory thanks for the link unfortunatly i read it too late i bought some gemini's pt-2410 to serve me until my 1200's get put back together (i'm polishing the aluminum) funny thing is the gemini's also have more torque then the 1200's

I believe that only the concorde scratch model is fluorescent. It doesnt light up by itself , its my blue leds mounted instead of my classic popup light that alllow them to shine.

the b52 subs are great! the act18s are actually really really good for the price... people are really sceptical of the power amp and all, but i think they are awesome for how cheap they are. i have the lx series and they are all passive, i use a pair of crown CE4000's and i bridge those puppies... needless to say my system is LOUD!
