Ah, but does it have ReWire, so that it can sync to Ableton Live and do The Bridge type stuff like Serato Scratch Live?

I see VDJ users have been asking for ReWire for a LONG time......

i just left the exhibition floor

version 7 beta can be seen and demo'd at the booth

the new version will support up to 99 decks

one setup was running six decks .... 2 vestax , 2 vms 4 and 2 ..uhh i forget

i thought it was pretty ballsy to show off the 6 decks on 3 different controllers

but , that's just me .......


2 anyone who believes that there is some other software that is superior

i would say that the VDJ booth was drawing a crowd even though they were right next to

Pioneer......

KayJay's cool videos pretty well did all the talking the software needs ......

Rick probably has some video of that .....

i have a bunch of pix from today , tomorrow i will get some video and post soon


i know there are other great softwares out there but i do not believe that

itch or scratch or pus or whatever they call themselves are better .......

Well...not only is this a dream come true that is going to make my life easier...but it is also going to hurt my wallet cause now I get to take my 6 month old (roughly) RMX that I got for my timecode setup and shove it off to the side and buy a new 4 channel mixer and 2 more tables.......oh well, such is the life of someone who lives as a DJ, lol. Although this would be a good time to pick up my 2 DN-S3700's I want. Gonna cost more money. Anyone know a place that does large loans for DJ equipment? lol.

FUSKIT you can still keep the rmx. just get another multichannel mixer and attach ur remix to that and then what ever else you want via the other mixer once you have all channels on the rmx filled up

Just wondering how much cpu power is needed to play multiple decks? Especially if you have key lock on on all of them... How do you make video transitions, is it possible to see ie. 4 or more videos at the same time? Maybe fade to black on each channel?

Now all we need is a 99 channel sound card and a 99 channel mixer!

thanks. Will keep the skinmasters busy with extra decks to accomadate ;)

99 decks, great.. everytime I take a karaoke request I'll load it into a new deck, would be nice if you could scrol through them and have a text section to put the peoples names in that requsted the track as it would be hard to remember all 99 of them.

People seem to forget that VDJ works with VST effects, so what you can do is almost unlimited.

Some VST plugins cost more than VDJ itself!
