Topic: hc-4500 and cue5.1???? - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

I was told by Numark and by vdj folks that the new version of cue will have native support...what happened? Is cue ever gonna have native support for the hc-4500? can anyone give me a straight answer?

Numark will never support the DENON Controller in his CUE version. I've now purchased VDJ and it's fantastic to use the controller with all his options. The discription of the products on this side should be modified, cause VDJ and CUE are not exactly the same programms. There are some differences in the controller support.

Well that info is a bit backwards guys.
Numark has no problem supporting Denon's gear.

The release was missing that support unintentionally and it will be added at some point in the future I am told.
Do not ask me when, I do not have that answer.

What are the odds of virtual dj selling a cue user a vdj license at a reduced rate ? Sort of like a upgrade
If they did i'd switch in a heartbeat.

Its not needed to do so as the VDJ Team willl correct the accidental removal of the controllers hopefully very soon.

No offense simon but there is a need. I'm a working DJ. I don't play in my bedroom and its not a part time job. I paid good money for a professional product and the fact that I'm waiting for something that I should already have and my peers, who had the better sense to get vdj instead of cue, are already benefiting from is just not acceptable. I heard the same response from you on the numark site "hopefully soon" isn't a comfort to me. Give us a straight answer. If your never going to carry it, man up and say so. That way we could figure out another course of action like buying vdj or selling the denon controller, but letting us wait is just not professional and i will remember the way numark handles its customers when i'm in the market for equipment.

maybe they are making native support for the NS7 and the Vestax VCI-300. Serato Itch will have native for both and they say that you can chose between Itch & Cue to control the NS7. I think the next update will have native support for the HC4500. Serato has native for the 4500 and since they are working with numark, why not have support. Waiting is worth it since they have more pressure in their hands working with serato.

Unfortunately it was left out by the VDJ development team accidentally when they made 5.1

We have assurances is going to be corrected as soon as they can make a new build ie 5.1.1 and we are encouraging this to move forward as fast as possible.

As stated we wanted customers to have support with version 5 and because of denon withholding support where told we would have to wait till 5.1 for the new controlers.

Hello Simon,

what is with the update of VIRTUAL VINYL???? Why Cue is updated to 5.1 and Virtual Vinyl doesn't?
I'm a scratching dj and want to use the new TC-Engine and the serato TC support (only for coloured vinyl ;) ).

Tell me only why, i try to understand it, but momentarly i can't....

Numark Cue is just the software when they sell it alone... Virtual Vinyl is the name of the whole package with cue software. Virtual vinyl and cue is the same. Cue= only the software, No time codes, no audio interface, etc... virtual vinyl is everything including cue..

There is No Cue 5.1 yet. You have to wait for the new controllers to be added natively to 5.1... Numark, serato, and vestax are working together.

CUE and VV are not the same program...VV is currently being tested before it is released..

This is from the internet. Everywhere it says the same..

Virtual Vinyl 5 is an incredibly reliable DJ hardware and software solution that lets you scratch, mix and sample digital audio and video files using any analog turntable, CD player or HD player. Virtual Vinyl comes complete with Numark's world-class CUE 5 DJ software, a custom USB audio interface, time code CDs and records, and more.

I have look in virtual dj for the software updates and Numark website for the new 5.1 update and i only see 5.0 r 7 i dont see anything about cue 5.1

Peace for everyone ;)

Numark say it's the same, but it doesn't in reality...

Cue User be able to download 5.1, VV User doesn't.. That's fact.

Still waiting and look at my Serato Vinyls in Blue and Red ;)

Its not there. Ive looked here in virtual dj and and numark. There is a Cue LE and Cue which is virtual vinyl and i only see 5.0 r7 . No 5.1
Its only speculation and no proof..

Numark has Cue Le " Limited Edition " and Cue( The full Version ) which is Virtual vinyl
You get the full screen output for video on Cue and cue LE you dont
