This is a very nice thread and I've been viewing with great interest.
Rick is correct that during the 2006 Computer DJ Summit we are featuring the “CPS World Mix-Off Championships”. The Mix-Off event location has been established and the new Summit location has been contracted for 2006... Stay tuned for program announcements after the New Year.
Each sponsored vendor will invite finalist (let's assume 5) from a pre-defined contest and criteria like discussed in this thread -- these finalist will mix-off against each other live for the title (for example 2006 Virtual DJ CPS World Champion). The event will have dedicated times for each sponsor to spotlight its product and have the finalist judged by a panel of industry experts and celebrities.
This will be for example Virtual DJ users in mix-to-mix (or head-to-head) competition against each of the invited finalist for the title, prizes and notoriety.

how will the people that joined the competiton who havent been on the radio go on it?
