Topic: Akai AMX
So I have 1 of these little units and lastnight I wanted to play some 45's from my collection.

I set VDJ in bypass mode and starting playing a record. Everything was fine until I went to adjust the eq's.

Nothing would happen, meaning there was no change in the sound.

I switched over to SDJ and put it into bypass mode, pressed play on my turntable and tried to adjust the eq's which worked!

Why am I not able to adjust the eq's with VDJ using an Akai AMX mixer??

When u bypass Timecode, it's like a Live Input, so Stems separation wont work. But if you set Eq mode to Frequency, it should work.

Well damn, now that you mention it, I did have the stems on the eqs, I'm an idiot!!

Thanks for the help.

VDJ should automatically revert to EQ in that case though

I'll be home in a few hours and try it out again and report back my findings.

Ok so once I switched back to traditional eqing everything is working great now 👍🏾

To Adions point, it does NOT actually switch once I hit the bypass button.
