Raising a ticket for a bug:
When switching from Frequency to 5 Knobs (Stems), Deck Colorfx FIlter still remains on; so turning Bass does not give the intended result of increasing or decreasing the stem.
Additionally, I'm unable to apply a toggle function to activate/de-activate deck colorfx to a h/w button?
e.g. Filter

I've just tested it running latest early access build 7553
My test:
1. Use regular freq + gain + filter
2. Switch to "Stems (full mashup control using 5 knobs)" in the pop-up screen behind the dropdown
3. Use the filter knob
... and that then controls the bass stem
So if i understand you correctly it seems to work ok on my setup

Went back and checked the change logs for the latest release that I'm using, and there is indeed an entry saying:
"Fix filter knob in 5-stem eq mode still applying filter as well"
So if that could be the issue you are talking about, it seems to have been fixed in build 7553

Thanks for checking. For some reason thew latest update that I'm getting is:

It appears to be present here. How do I get 7553?

Currently 7544 is the latest "Standard" release of VDJ.
To get the "Early Access" build, (currently 7555) either,
1) change your settings option: earlyAccessUpdates to YES
(and restart VDJ)
or
2) download it directly from here:
https://www.virtualdj.com/download/build.html
