Topic: Shaders

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

As shown below, if I try and download any shader from within VDJ with either the 32-bit version (b4720) or the 64-bit version - same build number - I get the error "cannot connect". The URL is copied from the browser, so does exist.

Also, I have copied a bunch of shaders between the 32 and 64 bit version as many are now broken when viewed at shader.com. Is there anyway to re-compile a shader without re-downloading?

Cheers,

Roy

Why are you running such an old build? This was fixed in b5186.

^indeed^ 4720 is like 8 months ago, the actual bug is kind of recent though [shadertoy changed something]

As for the x86 x64 thing you've got to redownload. I'm not sure on the licencing agreement with shadertoy but a local save of source code might be nice for your own backup but I honestly don't know if that's permitted.

...But that said, if you're running shaders/video, then you really want to be running x64 all the time.

Guessed as much.

I'll update after the gigs this weekend.
