I have a couple of Android tablets but don't see the point of paying for it all over again. It's the only thing I really use my 1st gen ipad for so would be great to get a fix.

OK cool Scott, got it downloaded but it crashes my Mac every time I try to load a track from the remote.
I think about 4 or 5 crash reports have been sent in.

Sounds good Dan just wonder why only is there cause it's crashed and restarted a bunch of times.
I'll say this, my Android tablet seems to connect a lot faster the my iPad for some reason.

A fix for that crash has just been submitted to the play store so will be available in a few hours.
Huey has already tested it and given it the thumbs up as fixed :)

Yes the Android side has been flawless the last hour!!
I've basically had my laptop closed and just used the tablet!!

The solution is at the bottom of the skin window in VDJ8. There is a "Tick" box in the lower right hand corner to force VDJ8 to look for Older V7 remote skins. It's checked as on by default.

Nice job Development Team. This is a tremendous achievement. Kudos to you all.
Note:
I Just went thru clicking on every button and Icon on the Remote Phone skin and cannot find a way to control deck volume. If the volume is already at full volume, the Gain could function as an alternative in a pinch but then, for those of us that use the setting: Auto+Remember, this may really mess things up.

There right I between the jog wheels/platters. 2 sliders (up/down) one for each deck........

Thats because when you connect it to VDJ7 it is effectively the old remote.

Search will not work in version 7 because you need stuff which is only implemented in version 8.
