Jeez, it'd be so much easier to just have an automation track like DAW software, that can record actions & allow you to edit them.

Groovin just be glad we can even do thi type of stuff, lol! Sure it sucks with all the scripting but it's well worth it 👍

VDJ 8 came so close too, with the Timeline. They were heading in the right direction!



I still think they should make it available as a plugin to those who want it.

Guys any way of bypassing POI's with a custom button? Loving it for a good old megamix or segway but would be cool to ignore these commands when mixing in a different way. At the moment I'm just duplicating the track and renaming it.

Sure make a POI mode,

on a custom button "toggle '$POImode'

then when adding POI to a track add this to the script

var_equal '$POImode' 1 ? {put your script here} : nothing

That will mean POI Actions are ignored unless $POImode = 1
That turns POI mode on for all decks, If you want per deck use 4 buttons & drop the $ symbol from the variable name.
