Topic: Scratching / Backspins much louder than normal sound

Hi there,

Scratching and backspins are much louder than normal playback. Is there an option that affects it? SvenDeKay gave me a hint that I should disable the limiter for testing, but its always on?! From now on the limiter is not optional?

Yes. The limiter is always on. It activates to prevent distortion on digital signal path. So even if you were able to disable it, it wouldn't be a good idea...

Backspins I find are always louder anyways, its not just a V8 thing. In a real record will produce a louder sound if you back spin, the same when it comes to scratching in general I find. It just doesn't seen unusually loud to me.
