Ok, after much research and debate with myself I raise the question: Should I sell my NS6 and buy two Midi Fighters? I really am loving these things at least what I see of them.
For those of you who have Midi Fighters do you like them? would you purchase them again?
I have went and designed two of them for myself and have them in the cart to purchase, but not sure its the right move. What to do, what to do.

How can anyone make that decision for you, unless they know you? Why not try them out before you buy them? Even if everyone that owns one loves them, that does not mean that you will. I thought I wanted one of those 2 seat-er BMW's, but it was way too much trouble getting in and out, so I bought a X5.

I just wanted opinions of the people that had them to see if they like them or not.

And that exactly what he's saying........just cause they love them DOESN'T mean your gonna love so if you can try it out before you go making a mistake you'll regret later down the road.......
ALWAYS TRY BEFORE YOU BUY, if at all possible........

I understand. Have you ever liked the looks of a car and asked someone's opinion on that car that has one? Then you go take it for a test drive? Maybe you test drive it first and like it then someone you know warns you bout something that you didn't see? Same concept smaller scale.
Unfortunately it's not something I can run to San Francisco to try out.

OK, I knew nothing about this product, so I did a little research. Granted, they seem to be made to order, so you cannot check them out at the local store. So, maybe one of our users will be close enough, and you can check them out. They are not that expensive, but that is still too much to find out that you don't like them. Then again, maybe you are filthy rich, so go for it, and if you don't like them, I'll give you a $100.00 to take them off your hand. That's because I'm a nice guy, and like to help my fellow DJs out.

I've got a question......You are considering dropping the NS6 for 2 Midi Fighters, correct?.......How do you properly DJ, beat-match, adjust EQ's, pitch, etc. without jogwheels, pitch sliders, knobs, etc....??....Seems the Midi Fighter should be an extension of your NS6, not the replacement...What can they do other than fire off samples and chained effects??...What am I not getting here...Please explain.....thankx =D.....
*****btw Have you seen the VCI custom Controller Ean Golden Edition?....Very nice!! It features 2 sets of 4 or 5 mappable midi fighter buttons per deck side. Kind of the best of both worlds. @ djtechtools.com.......Well, you know, it is the same ppl. that sell the midi fighter....lololol........They also sell controller packages WITH midi fighters and the new Midi Fighter 3D that has knobs and a small fader I believe. They only sell Traktor hardware, but it can be VDJ mapped.....

that's a really bad idea imo, the midifighter is just gimmick controller with 16 buttons, the ns6 is a full controller capable of so much more... If you want portability wait for the behringer cmd series, nem0nic "the project manager" has been saying they have upgraded the design with alloy faceplates, chassis mounted controls & better buttons, they should hit around October based on his last post on djtt.
If you want to try the midifighter you can get them secondhand very cheaply in the USA, then you can get the parts to customise the appearance from djtt if you prefer that over the ns6.
