That Serato DJ Intro software is interesting, but pretty restricted at the moment.

OK it's a free download - but it only works with (at present) a VERY limited number of controllers, and only controllers with onboard sound cards - so the really low end controllers that beginner DJs (who this s/w is aimed at) tend to buy will not work with it.

the vybe i was getting from the guys on the vdj stand was the about all the controller support, that virtualdj supports over 100 plus of all the controllers on the market..

but alas they were very tight lipped about the future of virtualdj and no hint about what future upgrades might bring.
but Stability was something they mentioned a lot..

after spending 5 hours there and making 3 laps i decided it was time to leave..

Thinking I was hardcore my plan was to go today but after having DJ'd last night I just couldn\'t bring myself to get out of bed until 10 and by then it was to late because I live 2.5/3 hours away.

I bought sleeping pill today and am nearly ready to down one, why the hell they hold it on a weekend I'll never know?

Name this guy

Tip - His name begins with S

Correct but doesn't he look like Simon Cowell!

He really needs a style make over to distance himself.

I know for sure, but not going to spoil it.
Remarkable resemblance though.

.....and I got a T shirt!

Thanks guys :-)

I know lots of companies now use BPM as a release date for new products (which is a good thing)
but not every company does. There was nothing new from Ableton, nothing from Denon...

I write from my hotel room on Saturday morning. Another day ahead.

Off to record a video for DJ Standz this morning.

Good to see you guys again today and thanks for all the freebies. Big thanks to Max for the drinks too.

Well laid out stand with plenty of decent controllers out, shame about the placement I reckon but win some lose some.

The teaners would be better placed but I really loved it apart from a couple of small bottles:

No Mic EQs (in 4 deck mode) AFAIK
Didn't like placement of Play and Cue buttons.

Tempted me to get rid of my MC6000 already!
