Using Shure SRH840.
Solid phones with acurate sound. I use them for DJing and also for recording work. Cost about 100-150 pounds in the UK but suspect they might be less expensive in the US.
Oh and Chuck! They come with a spare set of earpads so you can share them with other peoples girlfriends, if you like ;-)

Sony MDR-V700DJ - These sell at the local retailer for about $150 but you can honestly get the exact same pair off ebay out of China for around $35. It takes normally 3 to 4 weeks but they are definately worth the wait and price. I have purchased 4 pair and have never had an issue getting them. Not nockoffs. The actual Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones in Sony original packaging.

I use the Denon HP700. Feels great, sounds great, sleek design, sturdy, swivvel cup ear peices, and they fold up. This is by far the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. The lows, mids, and highs all sound great and they cup your ear nicely to help block out outside noise.

Oh also there is metal on the inside of the part that extends to act as a reinforcement. I've had headphones break in this area before so I was pleased to see this. For some reason the 1000's are plastic there, Weird. Anyways there are some reviews on youtube as well about these if your interested.

I use 3 different pairs for three different jobs, Beats STUDIO"S when I'm producing music (they sound great but there delicate) Beats Pro's (because they have a real clear deep low end for cueing) and Pioneer HDJ1000's when playing out at a show (because they are tough and can take some abuse)

Hi,
Over the years I've had sets from Beyerdynamics to Pioneer which where all good except headphones don't last for ever.
My current pair are made by Denon - DN HP1000 cost nearly 200 euro but from construction the sound quality they beat all they other headphones i've ever had hands down, worth ever penny.
