Also, with the release of version 7 comes a slight change in the product line.
VirtualDJ Home now becomes FREE for non-commercial use.

I see the list of updates and improvements but I am wondering if there is anything that is different (than what is listed) for macs that we should know?

I would assume not since there was no mention but wanted to be sure.

The support of soundcards is now better on the mac version especially with the advanced audio config. 24bit soundcards are now supported for example.

Am I correct in saying that VDJ can now play Flac files on my MacBook Pro?

Will be playing with the software within the hour...

I am using the Numark MixDeck so I am hoping this cersion works as well as the last!

how do i use the serato Rane1 box with Virtual dj Pro 7?

so i also ordered the Hercules DeeJay Trim 4&6 DJ Audio Interface will it work like serato and work on any cdj's and vinyl?

hi there guys,
im new in vdj and have dns 3700s and korg km-402 mixer runun mac leopard how do i get the dns working im a bit slow with computers so would eny 1 kindly help me get these babys working please love ur work VDJ it realy amazed me when i did a resurch on digital dj programs.

Unfortunately it is not possible to use the SL1 with VirtualDJ on a Mac.

This is because the manufacturer have not released CoreAudio drivers for it.

All we need now is iTunes integration. When I update a file in iTunes I would like VirtualDJ do the same just like Scratch Live

Just an added note, there will be no core drivers for the SL1.

I HOPE SO!!!! Maybe I will try it out. I installed bootcamp so i could run from the audio 4 or ssl1 box. would be nice to run everything from MAC OS

Hi guys thanx for the upgrade!

Got a question, I got a Hercules RMX, is there anyway to configure it to work with 4 decks? for example, by clicking the left Cue Select button alternate between decks 1 & 3 and be able to control deck 3 totally (volume, knobs...etc)?

Ok found out by clicking on the numbers of the decks you can control it with RMX, except the jog is on scratch mode, dont know how to change that.

VDJ 7 is awesome, nice work guys!

my question! is there an estimate on the iphone remote yet! this will be so usefull when popping out for a fag during a gig!

VDJ7 is very good but i prefeer is ver. 5.2.1. Very stable and economy computer power.

I'm happy with VDJj7 on my VMS4 is rock solid and the crazy thing is that the scratching sounds better than the NS7. My NS7 on the mac has major lag issue plus sounds very digital when scratching. I've tried everything possible to make it sound decent but not even close. For mixing purposes is good not for turntablism.

Hi,

I´ve installed the v7 on my MacBook Pro 17", Unibody, 4GB Ram, 500GB HD, MacOs 10.6(snow leopard).
The problem with my NS7( the warbling sound) is still there....if I push the motor off/on Button the sound is normal.
Only the 6.05 Version does work properly...except that this Version does not support the NSFX.....
My second Question is, why can´t I see the serato crates? there is the symbol but if I klick on the symbol nothing appears..


Sorry for my english, I am from Germany.....
