Ok got a ballpark figure to do this??

here some prices i got off the nz guy if you dont belive me email him,take note that when he sells you the stuff you have to make it your self and if if you mess it up putting the touch FOIL on etc you have to buy it again :[. and does not inc the stand.

The DIY aspects includes the key touch screen options and projection laminates ready to mount onto your floor stand.

Substrate laminated - GBP850 - this is optional as you may wish to laminate and source the substrate direct.

Interactive solution - 2 options

Projection screen laminate polymer 3 options

To work out the total cost simply select which touch option you want and which screen option.

The Dual Touch laminates are currently being manufactured to order, DT frames start shipping in a few weeks and 10 point multi touch frames about 6 weeks. The above pricing excludes international freight, taxes and duties, freight and shipping crate.

We are designing some ideas for stands at present for production, the shipping projectors have just been announced by our manufacturing partner and initial manufactured stock is underway though quite some delay depending which country..so this is being worked on at present. For DIY we expect folk to make their own stand etc though they might want to use our ideas etc.

Well, I do too would like to see a more "native" support for touch screens, multitouch I mean. A newer 64-bit version of VDJ with multitouch module would be really good, but I am not saying everybody may want to go that route, so, why not make it at least an add on or plugin or some sort of tool that anyone interested may just install it on top of their own setup of VDJ?.

Anyway, great journey so far, congrats VDJ Team.

Ok there's a nice little follow up article on this Wayne has asked me to point out for the guys, you can find it at http://www.neonpublications.co.uk/ click on the main page on left and when loaded head for pages 26 & 27.

Here\'s a newer video. Again only single touch, therefore have to use console to x-fade. Maybe one day VDJ with take the multi-touch seriously and will work on it.

Multipoint touch sytem would be nice. Until then you could use a skin bulit in large resolutiion. What is your resoluton for that touch screen you use?

My screen resolution is 1920X1200. I don't use the skin that large when I play. About 1/3 the screen. I have other windows open to search from music and to drag and drop into the decks. Plus I have a FX player that I use to play my FX that is better then VDJ F player ( SAMPLER ).

and if not.. as long as it's smooth. using the mixer to fade adn the screen to move .i$h around.

wouldn't it be possible to integrate the iremote interface in VDJ so that it can be used with a multitouch screen?
or convert the iremote to a multitouch skin.

If you are going to complain about what is posted in a forum that I created, then enforce your views on EVERYONE.

There is a difference between videos that relate to the topic - Touch Screens - and videos that are actual audio/video remixes.

Your last two posts were nothing related to the topic. They are links to your remixes - nothing to do with the topic.

And whether you created the THREAD or not - your posts are subject to the moderation as any other user.
