I'll will probably buy the full version when it reached 3.0.
If i register my 1.06 version(by login' in with the console attached) will i be a full user?

Why wait till then. What happens if the sky falls down on your head? or say... you get run over by a bus. Then, it will be 2 losses for you and believe the heavens will not appreciate that.

"Why wait till tomorrow for what you can do today"
"Don't let the grass grow under your feet...get a move on "

Well if he buys the sw and the sky falls on his head, there would be 3 losses (not including the sky) :)

You need to venture out in your area and see what people are wanting and dancing too.
What I play in my area is not necessarily what will work in yours.

The web charts like Billboard and others will give you an idea within the large global markets, and even more regionally through radio stations you can get an idea. I find that if you want to know what is hot in the VDJ community then the VDJ chart is a good start along with the VDJ BLOGS for playlists.

But, honestly; what I personally think is hot is not what I may end up playing at each gig. It's all about the croud and what they respond to.

I know this doesn't help, but maybe it will help you understand why there are more play lists posted and not a 1,2,3,... chart list.

lol :)
Does any1 keep track of personal charts all the time? I mostly improvise my sets. It works for me. By checking charts I get an idea of what tracks that will probably be requested by the crowd. But you can't only play by charts, right?

Yes, I know, that's not the answer you were looking for. But maybe a thought worth thinking about.

If you play to please a crowd your on the bad trail man.
I asked for charts to get a feelin' of quality of the dj's.
Crowd pleasing at any cost is not my thing.
it's to commercial and not professional.
Do you really think that Väth will play something he hates?
Some (underground)killers please?

1st of all if your only starting out I would first make a name for myself. Pleasing the crowd (no matter what your playing) is a DJ's number 1 job!!!!

I don't care what you think you can do on with music, if the crowd doesn't like it, they don't pay for it!

I'll play whatever gets the dance floor moving and from time to time I'll slip some underground stuff as long as the dance floor doesn't get empty.

Just my opinion on the subject

@DJ White Devil --
I wasn't going to entertain the response from 'droeli' but thanks for speaking up and it gave me an opportunity to calm down.

@droeli --
My response is that what I play and what I think is number 1,2,3... is what my crowd is working off of that night. They determine my chart each night.

As for the commercial vs. professional comment -- a true professional knows how to read his or her crowd and deliver and move the crowd to what they want and feel. Commercialism is when the only crowd you get is the crowd that likes what you little list of favorites is all you play. So if you go out there with your little Top 100 list and thats all you play then more power to ya.

Oh, by the way; droeli,
You have a resident slot where?
Who put you in-charge of judging quality?
And, your cracked version of the software is?

You whant some real music for the soul. i think i know what U need. go to www.di.fm and see what they play. i am hooked on the progressive chanel (man some tracks there that will blow U away!!!). check it out. I guarantee U wont be disapointed. stream some tracks and see witch U like best, then try to get them elsewere (you can only stream at a 96 kbps qualitty :(((. BASTARDS. ). but anyway this is my advice. Peace and happy mixing.

@ dj white Devil

I understand that you have to please the crowd when your resident or you get sacked
But i don't feel that a dj has to look at the crowd he just does his thing.
Like people dj's all are different.
It's imossible to please everybody because tastes are different.

By the way
post some titles and blow me away
