To make it work, install and load your lpd8 editor program. Make sure VDJ is closed as are ny other programs that would use you lpd8. Plugin you lpd8 and run the editor. Select "load presets" and browse to the vdj prest.lpd file. Load it, save it and then shut down your program. Unplug the lpd8 and then plug it back in. copy the 8.xml to your mapper folder and lpd8_device.xml to your device folder. Open VDJ an enjoy! works like this:

Program 1: loops
pad-left deck
cc - right deck
button 1 - 1/4 loop
button 2 - 1/2 loop
button 3 - 1 loop
button 4 - 2 loop
button 5 - 4 loop
button 6 - 8 loop
button 7 - 16 loop
button 8 - 32 loop
knob 1 - pitch/key bend deck 1(does not affect bpm) (*fixed the inversion)
knob 5 - pitch slider deck 1
knob 4 - pitch/key bend deck 2(does not affect bpm)(*fixed the inversion)
knob 8 - pitch slider deck 2
program 2 - cue
pad- left deck
cc - right deck
pads 1-8 cue point 1-8 respectively(button is a cue play/set)
knobs not used
program 3 - samples
pad- samples 1-8
cc - samples 9-12
pads 1-8 samples 1-8 respectively
knobs control volume
program 4 - effects
pad - left deck
cc- right deck
you'll have to go into this and program your effect as you wish. Just hit "key learn" in mappers, and then type "effect (effect name) activate" and you're good. knobs 1 and 2 control effects intensity for pad 1, knobs 3 and for for pad 2 etc. I would recomand setting pads 5-8 for effect that have no adjustment, like flippin double or something).
