The following will automatically perform a video crossfade as you press PLAY on the appropriate deck as the live playing deck is coming to an end (When there is less than 1 minute playing time remaining.) This is very useful if you are using a MIDI controller and/or external DJ mixer that does not have a MIDI capable crossfader.
Map the CUE button to the following:
leftdeck ? deck right songpos_remain 60000ms ? cue_stop & deck right video_transition : cue_stop : deck left songpos_remain 60000ms ? cue_stop & deck left video_transition : cue_stop
And the PLAY button to the following:
leftdeck ? deck right songpos_remain 60000ms ? play_pause & video_transition : play_pause : deck left songpos_remain 60000ms ? play_pause & video_transition : play_pause
If you would also like it to change the video transition, to automatically create some variety, map the PLAY button to the following:
leftdeck ? deck right songpos_remain 60000ms ? play_pause & video_transition & video_transition_select +1 : play_pause : deck left songpos_remain 60000ms ? play_pause & video_transition & video_transition_select +1 : play_pause
You can also map another button to perform video crossfades on demand. The first press will crossfade to the other deck. The 2nd will instantly complete the crossfade.
