FLAC tags are not currently supported, no, but FLAC as an audio format will work - I use it myself.
I think FLAC is now natively supported - if you add it to the codecs tab, and use the internal decoder to play it back.
However, if it doesn't work, install oggcodecs from here: http://www.xiph.org/dshow/ and then add flac to the codecs tab using windows media player audio decoder.

Any idea about on Mac OS X? I've got Quick Time Playing FLAC, tons of my apps can play it fine, Virtual DJ is the only one that can't no matter what Codec I tell it to use (Quicktime, Ogg, Default, Internal I tried everything logical)

My mac system is in storage at the moment, so I've no idea. Best place to ask would be the Mac forum.
