Topic: video output resolution

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi,

it seems there is no way to set the video output size,
so what the native résolution,
the window is 320x240,
the PAL/NTSC seems to be an interpolation.

Anyone has the clear spec ?

thx

Find out what the best resolution is on the screens you're using and manually set it in System Preferences. It is worthy to note that if you're going directly from the Mac to the screen, the Mac usually can detect the screen and set the output appropriately. For me, I output my video from my Mac to a video mixer, then through a distribution box. Through so many extra components, the signal doesn't make it back to my Mac, so that's where manually configuring is necessary.
