Virtual DJ 5.x is much more stable and video is smooth as anything. unfortunatly, I have one small glitcham and I hope someone can shed some light.
This is my gig laptop
Dell XPS 1710
2.3 intel dual
2 gig ram
7600GTX 512mb video
it is a very stable and powerful machine. the problem is when I am running .VOB videos in automix mode. Everything runs fine, except after the transistion finishes its fade, the new video hiccups for a split secong. Audio continues fine. I've tried playing with the performace settings with no luck.
Any help?

I have a very powerfull laptop as well and heard about this problem and tested it on mine and I have the same problem. I never used automix but just tested it out and at the end of the song when the next song starts to load there is this weird noize that is created and I have no idea what causes it. Also to all of you that have a cheap laptop running video great I hate you lol :) I bought a Gateway P6860 FX for like $1300 and seriously had to spend a week on it to get it to do video.
