Topic: Sampler Question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there any way to monitor the sample or samples without them playing over the "air" so to say...sometimes the loops just don't match up for beats right?

Any help would be great.

I agree...A way to listen in A or B decks/split.

No not really.....the sample comes out of both channel, stereo.....so ur best bet is to load it up from the sampler folder onto one of the decks and listen to it that way. This won't help hear if its looping on beat, but then again its set up to do that automatically and from all the no. of samples I've played with, none has had syncing problems..

There is a way... if you have an extra channel on your soundcard?

the 3 channel configuration puts the samples on it's own channel. you can then use the cueing features of your external mixer to monitor/cue
the samples without playing them back to your audience..

you can use 2 different soundcards by using ASIO 4 ALL combine 2 sound cards to make one ASIO Driver with multiple channels.
or get a MAYA GIGA USB

That's how I do it. Works well.
