Topic: How to setup VDJ to send music videos to big screen without seeing VDJ softwar

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi guys,

My name is Yekeen and I just got registered here. I don't really know if this is the right place to post this question but whatever it is I really like to know how this stuff work.
How can I setup a VDJ to send music video I play on VDJ on my laptop to a big screen without the software showing on the big screen but only the music video.

This what I did previously and that didn't work...

I connected my projector to my laptop and send the laptop image to my projector.
when I opened VDJ to play the music videos, the projector was displaying the VDJ software and some video screen on the right corner of VDJ. I have no idea how this going to work for me.

I don't know if you understand me but if you really do and know how to set this up, I will be glad for you assistance. Thanks in advance

You have your video settings in mirror mode. I'm guessing it's a PC because Mac defaults to dual display. On a PC, right click in an open area of your desktop and select video settings. I believe you can change this in advanced settings on PC. It's something like dual monitor. Not positive, though. I use a Mac. I'm sure there will be a PC user along shortly to give you better advice. Just posting now incase I can point you in the right direction.

Also, you mentioned you registered. You're showing up as a non registered user. Please enter your serial number or purchase a legal version of the software. Hope to see you as a registered user soon.

click on start/cick on control panel /click on display /the display window will pop-up...click on setting/tick the extend my desktop windows onto this moniton / click OK......NOW GO BACK TO V.DJ and move the video window to the your second monitor and go fill screen

yekeen first off your laptop top needs to be dual video, next could you tell us if you are running xp or vista, if you are not sure could you please post the specs on your computer or at least the make and model of it that way someone will be able to give you better advice to your problem.
