which would be better to get it i plan on using the computer just with VDJ and a Denon 4500.

32 bit. 64 Bit will only give you the maximum advantage with programs written for the 64 bit version of Windows. VDJ is 32 bit only. Not to mention you will have a much easier time getting drivers for the 32 bit version.

agree, go with 32, 64 is mainly used by gamers, i reverted back to 32 on my desk top

The main difference is memory. 32 bit 2^32 supports upto 4GB of memory in total. This includes every device which has memory meaning the total RAM you could use would be in the low 3GB amount. Most software is designed around a 32 bit architecture and there is no performance difference running a 64 bit OS with 32 bit software. 2GB or RAM in dual channel is typically enough for most users so for that reason and application stability I would also advise 32 bit.

Exactly as Andrew pointed out. Get 64 only if you want to use more than 4gb of RAM,
and you are absolutely sure that you will need it.
