I was wondering if anyone has bought anything from anyone on Craigslist. I was looking at listings, and the prices are ALOT better than Ebay for certain things.

I do alot of business on Craigslist. Chicago is such a big town you can pretty much sell/buy anything on it. This month alone I sold my computer (Macbook Pro $2000), some extra Ram, 2 CDJ 100's, the Virtual Vinyl soundcard ($300), and my DJM 800 ($1000). All within a couple of days from posting my listing.

It's an electronic trader's guide type site. People can post ads for things they are selling or wanting to buy.

I Just bought a Mackie VLZ mixer thru an add on Craigs list,
( really great deal and 6 yr old mixer was like new )
I had to drive 4hrs each way and move quickly but the
orig owner was straight with me and We both ended
very happy.
He talked to me a few days later and said he had offers
still coming in .I guess a lot of people check it.

Best to all
Scott

I was hunting down an 8' cargo ramp for load ins.
The ramps were running around $600 new PLUS freight which for the one I wanted made on the west coast was going to be another $150.
I did a search on Google for 8" fiberglass ramp and the 4th listing was to a craigs list.
I clicked on it, it was exactly what I wanted, it was new and IT WAS IN THE NEXT TOWN OVER.
An hour later for $250 I owned it, and the next night I used it for a tough load in.
It paid for itself that one night in the pouring rain with no slips.

Ebay has become of an internet market place for vendors operating stores.
