I got the same problem.

Denon DJ wrote: "By the red SOURCE button found on either deck. Turn parameter knob and select MIDI".

With the source button I can only choose "PC" or "CD", not MIDI.

If i can use the same "MIDI-setup" as the HD player... where can i find that xml-file?

I've done everything, downloaded and loaded the midi map file, etc. selected, general midi, activated it, tryied with the 4500 option also, Sound is working ok over Denon's ASio, but can't get the controls to work.
Any help ?
Thanks

Try this:
Go into the -preset mode and change MIDI Channel to "1" from "All"

YOu can only select and see MIDI if you have the latest software version > v1200

The Denon 2500 is supported from VDJ 5. Please download the latest demo version of VDJ here from the website and install it.
