Topic: Multiple soundcards - DN-HC4500 plus notebook

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have been using VirtualVinyl and love the third stereo channel output for monitoring and sampler output.

I just purchased a Denon DN-HC4500 remote control/soundcard and would like to switch over to using it for the primary sound card (using the 2 stereo outs for the rilght/left decks). I would like to use my laptop soundcard for the third (monitor and sample) channel.

Is there a way to use the Denon as the right and left player channels and my laptop soundcard as the sampler/monitor?

The "2 Cards" Option only lets you split the 2 cards to decks 1 and 2, but not to a monitor or sampler.

(I sure wish Denon would have put one more output on that remote!)

Just 2 ASIO outs. I really wish it had one more.
