Topic: [NEWS] VirtualDJ 5.0 rev4 is released - Page: 3

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

Upon running and entering my serial and then selecting the skin; I get an "Installation Error". I had the Multi Functions 2.0 skin and the BCD2000 Mapper 2.1 installed on version 5.0.2. I did a upgrade over version 5.0.2. Troubleshooting now...

VirtualDJ 5.0.4 now works.

For future reference, I did these steps. I do not think that all of these steps are really necessary:
  1. Deleted my VirtualDJ 5 XML database.
  2. Uninstalled VirtualDJ.
  3. Deleted the two registry folders.
  4. Reinstalled version 5.0.4.
  5. Restarted computer. It asked me to restart my computer which is weird since it did not ask me when I installed it the first time.
  6. Now it works, but it appears that I have to set up all the options again.
First bug?

I cannot highlight words in the search field with my mouse.
 
Second Bug

The "Download Plugins" button on the Info tab in the "Settings" window goes to the wrong Web page. It takes me to the demo of VirtualDJ. Haha, I do not need that now do I?

Could the webmaster please fix fix the "Download centre" button in the forums, it still doesn't light up to let you know a new version is avaliable like it used to. I had no idea this version had been released as I don't always view the general forum. =)
 
Is there a list on this website with all changes and bugfixes of the version 5.4?
 
Daniellabs, excellent point as it would have an immediate reference point instead of repeating questions.
 
It's been removed, as to why I have no idea. =)
 
Question for VDJ webmasters:

Have you any real reason why you don't want to bring back VDJ changelog as on the older web site?

Everyone wants to know what is new...

also does it not support the new denon 4500
 
There's a Little box for it to enable - It says Denon HC4500, Idunno - looks supported to me - But then again I don't Own one.
 
oh, i don't have one either. just never noticed it. i'll look again.

No, because version 5.4 is not out yet. Haha. :-). There used to be a list of changes, but I have not read an official response as to why the "Version History" list is gone.
 
I have not had any issues with rev2, should I update to rev4?

 
I haven't had any issues with 5r2, but I'll update to 5r4. Thanks for the update team!

Old changelog from version 1.0 to only 4.3 is here. Now is missing.
 
I tried to use CUE's update within the program and it tells me that rev2 is the latest version..????
