I'm having troubles.

i am connecting with port 7171, the port isTCP/UDP.

i am connecting with my IP.

when people to the url, they get a blank page, and a little download screen, which says save/open

when they save it, it doesnt save anywhere, when they hit open, hit doesnt open.

this is with VDJ 4.2 full version.

can someone help me?

"your connection is routed

so broadcasting ports are not accessible on the internet so you cannot stream from vdj as a local server

unless you go to your router config and forward port 8000
you will find instructions for this in your router manual

if you find this to confusing or you do not want to bother with this simply broadcast to an external server it will work fine :) "

i port fowarded to port 8000 to a UDP port type

now what is next?

Are you even ment to broadcast with your IP? Theoratically only people in my network would be able to hear? And that is how it goes for me an automatically, it chooses my IP.. Yet choosing my WAN IP would make it work... How do i do so it chooses WAN instead of normal IP...?

what you need to do is forward the ports to your wan ip. port 8000

Thanks for the fast reply. However, I've forward the 8000 port now. What I need now is a way to get VirtualDJ to use my WAN IP, not my normal IP.. Is that even possible?

Is that a hard one? :P

Oh I was hoping u'd be as fast as you were before on the reply :S Shouldnt it use WAN ip in order for it to work (unless you wanna broadcast over your network)

virtual dj 2.10 has not been availalable for 4 years

please use a legal copy .
http://www.virtualdj.com/download.html

cracked copies are full of bugs and one of these is that the broadcasting section is damaged.

hope to see you as a pro user soon.
