Can someone please confirm if this is a bug or even true,

using TCCD and 4.2 and SMART (timecode) mode,

When the 12 minutes runs out on the timecode, does you music stop now too?

It used to continue on but mine now stops which it is not supposed to.

we need testers.

thanks,

From reading the forums the timecode feature has changed.

It seems that the new method means that when the record runs out, the song stops. It now works the same as if you were using real decks.

It shouldnt in smart mode, but I dont have decks here now, so cant test.

Hopefully someone can test it in smart mode, and see if it was forgotten in 4.2

Since it has been confimed- I do believe that if you use automix (let's say for the 1st hour of your club night or cocktail hour, etc.) it used to be that when the TC ran out, the automix continued to switch songs on your automix list, now I believe the music stops when the TC runs out which would be really bad for those using that.

is this true?

NOR- Since I had no timecode issues with 4.1, is there anything else major that 4.2 provides? I did notice some minor midi enhancements but not much. Can I go back to 4.1 and this would give me the smart mode fix that is needed?

if you intend to do automix, disable the timecode controll anyway. that way there is no 'running out'

i think the 4.2 was put out in a hurry for christmas and this one thing was forgotten, it will soon be out in a 4.2 r2 i would bet

Workaround at the mo is to just disengage timecode before the vinyl runs out.
