Topic: Done with Windows XP Media Center

Well, I've heard some different grumbles about the new Media Center XP and can now confirm it has been a nightmare for me. I believe the issue is that the drivers for many of the hardware devices, like soundcards, aren't made for this XP version. That causes hard crashes and when you send the error report that is what the response is even though I have the latest drivers for the Maya and other devices.

I am going to do a fresh install of XP Pro this weekend and wanted to do be sure I backed up the right VDJ stuff. I know I need to backup the database.xml file. What else should I back up? Thanks in advance folks.

just save the whole virtualdj folder, that way u still have your effects, skins and such...
