I recently got a new computer with onboard graphics. I also purchased a PCIe x16 ATI X1600 Pro card with 512MB RAM. I can't seem to get the extended desktop feature to work with this card. Whenever I click on "extend my windows desktop for this moa onitor", it doesn't take. I am using the vga output for my main monitor and connected the external monitor via s-video. I am running win xp MCE 2005. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

It is a known ATI bug and the fix is to use the DVI side with the DVI to VGA adapter. Shut down the PC and switch over to that side and connect your TV as well should fix ur problem. How I know this is I spent an hour on the phone with ATI some time back and it is a known problem with some of their cards. Hope this helps.

Holy shit Brian, you must be the unluckiest VDJ user in the world! I've never known anyone else have as many problems. I think VDJ should take you on their team as a solutions expert! ;o)
