Topic: Well I think I'm gonna get a pair of Denon 3500's...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

What would I need to get them working with Virtual DJ? Do I need something like the E-Mu 1616M in order to make it work? Is there something cheaper than that?

Thanks.

I wanted to use 3500's but it seems they have a few issues with timecode use that denon has yet to resolve. I went with cdj800's and they have worked perfect for me.

Yeah, I seen some video about an update... and it was working good with Serato Scratch Live.

It has hardly been used.

the 3500's work great, I own a pair. Just make sure you flash them to the latest firmware if they dont come shipped with it. Now depending on your budget there are alot of sound cards that are available. The EMU 1616m is a sweet card, I have used it. However gonna have mine up on ebay when I get the time. I am now using the motu ultralite. The reason I switched over to this is that I have more inputs and outputs than the emu1616m.

funnyb0nz, can you email me a price of what you'd like to get for the soundcard too?

Thanks.
