Topic: How important is MCing?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Personally i don't like MCing, i avoid it where ever possible and let the music do the talking.

Do you feel MCing is important part of being a DJ?

I don't like it too but it can be important in the club especially if you are a resident like me and people kinda expect something to hear from me. I have a luck so God gave me nice and strong voice, but I try to speak as little as possible, music is in the first place. When someone familiar to me comes I welcome him/them, people like that, they feel kinda important or something :). If you don't have nice voice than don't speak at all, you don't wanna spoil your mix ;)
But if this is the case, these days exist units like Vocalizers that can change your voice and you can sound as Michael Buffer (Let's get ready to Rumbleeeee.... :P )... the options are endless, in this digital era.... ;)

correct ;)

People like to hear their names, but not too much! People dance to music not to your speaking ;)

Never thought of applying effects to my voice.

Is is possible via VDJ and a Mic plugged into the DJ Cosole? ....

...if not, i feel a feature request coming on!!

It is not possible yet. It was already written in New features forum. But you can add your voice ;)
