Right now I am using a Dell Laptop with a pentium M 1.5. The machine has a dedicated video card with I think 64MB memory (not shared from the main memory). I'm having some issues with VDJ4 and I think it is related to the speed of the machine. I am wondering if getting the Gateway 7322GZ which is a PENTIUM 4 with H/T. here are the specs. I'm looking at this to use with VDJ4 and time CODE CD which seems to take up a lot of sytstem resources and make my machine freeze with VDJ4 so I am hoping a new machine will solve the issue. Theonly thing I do not like about it is the video memory which appears to be shared and the fact that it appears to support only 1GB of memoey.. anyway.. here are the specs.. Please let me know if I am making a good choice for VDJ4 using a maya 44 USB and a USB 2.0 HD and time code CD...
