Topic: CTU using Virtual DJ - appearing on the tv-show "24" - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

Any fans of 24 might appreciate this, was just watching the last couple of episodes of season 5 and noticed that one of CTUs high-tech gadgets was actually......the hercules controller :p. Took a couple of screenshots of CTU fighitng terrorism with Virtual DJ.

I'm on Spain and these episodes haven't reached yet here.

kinda funny... wonder why its in "24" episodes... clearly not room for djing in that program ;) hehe

Or maybe she's using the new hidden feature of Virtual DJ 3.5 (never released public) that stops terrorism when you hit Beatlock ;) hehe

A good sampler engine can scare terrorists a way;)

Just load up with gun sounds, air battle and atomix bomb sound (c) Atomix Productions..


Or use the elite version 3.5 with its hidden features;) Now u know why its called ATOMIX productions;)

special version only sold to American Military Services, and can not be sold outside USA because of international treaty agreements..

It looks like they made a Special "24" skin, maybe they were playing back Audio files as if VDJ was an editor (because of waveform etc) and the Herc looks like a funky device. If they were trying to pass it off as anything not related to sound then the makers of this show must be rather stupid..

The first picture is a fake, somebody has put VDJ 4 full skin on the laptop!!!

They use Hercules DJ Console (the old, not MKII).

@Alberto: the 5th season is on since few weeks at Antena 3. I think it's on Sundays might.
But don't know wich chapter is the one using the Hercules Controller, and if it's been passed yet.

True, they had a kind of voice processor tool for the CTU
