Topic: Using CD Player's Cue and Loop Functions

Hi guys, I've upgraded to v4.0 and I'm trying to configure my system correctly. I'm using a pair of CDXs with timecode CD's to control VDJ in absolute mode. I think I may be overlooking something here. When I cue or loop with the CDXs, the cues and loops are a bit delayed. Thanks!

I'm using Maya44 and latency is set to Auto with Safe Mode and Overclock checked. Everything else is running flawlessly. Looping and hot cues with the CDX controls are slightly delayed. I'll keep playing with the settings, but if someone's already climbed this mountain... please post up. Thanks!

Just in case anyone else is experiencing this, I was able to fix my problem by NOT using "Auto" as my sound card latency option. Happy mixing!

The "auto" just use the buffer/latency settings from the card directly, like it was in 3.4
Propably it's set to a high buffer/latency in maya's panel.
I use "auto" and "fast" or "rapid" in maya.

What latency works for you now ?
