I was listening to one of DJ spinbad's minimixes on Z100 this week and I noticed he has started using this really cool effect that I can't seem to figure what it's called and if there is someone who has designed an effect for virtual dj that replicates it.
Basically what the effect is:
Song is playing, he cuts the song on a down beat with a fade away echo effect and starts the next song on the upbeat immediately. I've done this type of transition before, (very tough transition to do btw) requires a very good sense of rhythm as well as setting the right cue point and quick hands with the mixer and play button...seems like this effect would be awesome to compensate for a slight second delay...it also just sounds cool! any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
