Does anyone have any links to some Royality FREE samples suitable for scratching?, aka voice/vocal samples which are generally easier to scratch. Either that or links to suitable samples you may have uploaded to this website. Would be great if we could put together a listing as scratching is something that most of guys are interested in.

Personally I'm trying to put together a small archive so I have something to work with for when my decks arrive, I'd particuarly be interested in that cheesy sample from the Getdown video "arh yea" :).

the best thing i have seen so far is the Q Bert learning to scratch dvd vol.1, It broke things down slowly, not saying it makes it a whole lot easier bt it helps a bunch.

For a tutorial, I found this video helpful. It's sold in a bunch of different places.

The QBert video L2 mentioned is also excellent.

@ Bagpuss, in my blog I pasted an article that has some of the top breaks albums that have great scratch sentences...including the Get Down sample. I highly recommend super ducks breaks which you can buy on CD
