Topic: "Beatlock" command starts deck

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I noticed that when I use the pre-programmed keyboard shortcut "B" for "Beatlock" when I load up a new track, this will set the default deck to the same BPM as the active deck, but will not start playing the track. I like it like that. But if I add a MIDI command to do "Beatlock", it not only matches the BPM's but starts playing the track as well. Any idea why this is, and how to stop it from doing that?

use the shortcut example space button with the shortcut sync or beatlock and click "auto" its same to sync without lock but match and song will started

Actually I figured out a way to do this the way I want: define the button to "pitch" and "auto" on the "default" deck. This way it matches the pitch to the other deck without playing the track.
