i have tried all the main dj softwares and i think by far this one is the best value for money and has by far the best features

i aslo love the fact that you have life time updates!
[Edited by Yan-X : ] I just want to point out to our users that there's no official points in our EULA standing that all updates will always stay free, but that's true that until now (3.4 release) all the new versions have been given to our registered users ! (except if they asked to stay on a given version or broke the EULA for any reason)

what do you think?

I have tried a lot of them. This one, by far, runs circles around the others. The other guys are so slow to adapt and expand. I am glad to have found it. BTW, the only reason that I found it was because someone posted in another forum for another software that I used. I have searched at Download.com and found other software. I used Pro DJ or DJ mixing or music remixing search terms. I am not sure those guys have this listed or even how it works.

Of course, the old saying "word of mouth" is the best advertising!

Virtual DJ is the most popular Dj software at download.com. This is something the community should be very proud about. Last time I checked it was close to 5 million downloads. Congratulations, VirtualDj is simply the best, I use nothing else.

may have the most downloads, but their search engines don't know what it is or how to find it with some of the most simple search terms! lol.

"Virtual DJ is the most popular Dj software at download.com."

This is where I found VDJ several years ago. It would be interesting to find out how many registered users found VDJ the same way. A few years ago computer Djing wasn't very popular, so I imagine that these types of sites played a huge role in VDJ's popularity and success.

Can't quite remember how I discovered vdj, I think it was just a result of some random web surfing...

I was already using Atomix Mp3 and in 2003, July if I remember right, Atomix started the famous Virtual Dj project, version 1.0... Rest is the history! I have been here from the start, and VDJ became the superior one, the best! Keep up the good work Atomix team, and hey, in July we will have 3 candles on the birthday cake ;) lol!

as said before i love it , i have been a great fan of atomix products since i got a free trial in a serial packet when i was 14 :)

then i went out and bought dj mixstation one

then year later dj mixstation 2

and then recently i got the console editon and was so happy , i went and got pro a week later

and now im 17 and in the space of 3 years iv seen this product come on in leaps and bounds from the old classic version to the new one with videos

i cant wait to see how v.4 will be better

and il strongly recomend this software to every one i come across

I agree, I tried some other softw's years ago (BPM Studio, MixVibes, ...).

When I found VDJ, I ended to search new soft.

And it seems the new developments goes in the right direction.

the thing i find with others is that they all feel the need to make u buy modules like video and tvc units

ie pcdj now has a fx version for mp3 and a twice as expensive and has half the funtionaly of vdj

so i think its awsome u get a complete product from Automix !

@ skyfxl:

i don't think it's a fact that we get lifetime updates.

as far as i know atomix discussed letting the users pay for the upgrade for v4
