You can do like as you saw at picture. If you buy pro version and if you have 4.1 soundcard it is possible. You can also use maya44 as very good soundcard.

You need 2 cables. They should be 1/8 inch stereo on one end, and 2 RCA on the other end. The 1/8 inch goes to the sound card, and the RCA, goes to the mixer channel 1. Then repeat for the other side of the mixer, channel 2.

"the smaller one connects to your PC line in."

Shouldn't that be "PC line out"? I am also sorry about that 1/8 inch thing. I thought it was 1/8 inch. Does anyone know if that converts to 3.5 mm? BTW, that's the way I have my setup. I just use a different sound card, to my external mixer.

It depends what he wants to do, that's why I asked. I'm assuming he wants to connect his mixer to his PC to record although what you said is perfectly valid if he wishes to do the opposite and send audio from his PC to his mixer. Although I'm not sure this functionality exists in Home Edition.

I see your point. I quess we should know which way he want's to go.

For this you have to use mixer that has midi outs. Like numark has a few of them with usb.
