can somone tell me how to ripa promo only dvd, when ever i use the dvd rip that came with vdj i get an error message and when i start the program and then insert the dvd i still don't get it to rip it

Squeezeey,
some tutorials and manuals are written already to rip promo only disks. Search on the forum for "Promo only" or "DVD rip" (without the quotes).

First you must caress it very softly, put your lips....... Oh, I'm sorry I was thinking about something else. This dancer just left the DJ booth and, never mind. Also search for "smartripper". I use this program, and it works for me. I also rip to "vob", which they say is a direct copy of the dvd. The file is much bigger, but I don't care about hard drive space.

Or if you haven't got infinate HD space, try ripping to divx - around 50MB for an average length "radio edit".... Try IMtoo DVD-ripper - from disc to divx in a couple of clicks... (info courtesy of Tophouse, hehe!)
