A Man and His Music
This is what I understand. The model you are looking at is the DJ Console MP3. It does not have a soundcard in it. You will need a mixer for headphone cueing. Then there is The MK1, which has a dual soundcard, and you are able to cue with a headphone. The new MK2 has some some added features, that I know nothing about. From what I understand, it is built better. The buttons and switches are suppose to be stronger, and to last longer. As you can see, I do not have all the answers, but hope I helped a little bit.

Hercules DJ console
-it was first with internal 6 channel soundcard and one microphone and line input.
-it has some problems with sometimes ignoring pushing the buttons sound was quite good
- has virtual dj 1.09 bundled with it
Hercules DJ control MP3
- it is exactly the same as Hercules DJ console but without soundcard, just the wheels and buttons
-has Virtual DJ 3.2 bundled
- the price is about the half of DJconsole
Hercules DJ console MKII
- it has newer buttons and jogwheels, little more functions (regarding prelistening)
- it has soundcard with 2 inputs and 2 outputs so you can use Timecoded vinyl and connect two turntables to hercules
-has Virtual DJ 3.2 bundled
- price is almost the same as the Djconsole
