Topic: New DJ Console MK2 still not happy

I am the proud owner of a new Hercules MK2 and the functionality is fine thus far however my one diapointment is that im not grasping the concept of beat matching i want to understand the theroy and feel confortable matching beats with out the computers help. Anyone weith a few wise words please feel free to drop a line

Try first to locate 4x4 compass of the song piece, then locate the drum beat. Mix entering an the first compass on first drum beat. Auto BPM will help you....imaging doing this with a LENCO turntable 15 years ago....COME ON you can do it easily now
