obviously my card is a 3d sound card...is there anyway 2 configure atomix so that i can have the overall output going 2 my pre-amp and the preview going to a headphones?

Yes, there is a way to configure all these, but it only works in a Full version purchased in this site.
After you buy AtomixMP3 or VirtualDJ you could see the information about this in my blog.
