i havent even tried the microphone yet. i have run into an issue i never had b4 though. for some reason the songs will be playing fine, then for no reason jump a head 8-10 beats. only happens every now and then and it seems like when i move the crossfader. but i could be wrong. i never had this issue b4 the headset so maybe it has something to do with it. and no the tracks arent real long like some people have skipping issues with. just regular 2-3 minute tracks

mazbe it's the resync feature of VDJ. There's setting in the registry
that tell what will trigger the song to skip.

Your main card plays maybe at 44100HZ and USB at 44098 (due to latency probably)
when the difference is bigger than the value in the registry, vdj tries to get
those 2 songs in sync and jumps to the exact position of both.

I'm not sure whether this is the case, but it's one of the possible...

weird, but if your talking about dropping one or two samples a second difference it wouldnt jump 8 - 10 beats to re-sync would it?

i played with it more last night and it continues to skip. i have figured out its not triggered by anything i do. i just sit and watch the track and it will skip 3 or 4 times in 5 minutes... frustrating so i'm going back to visually cueing.
