Topic: DJ Books and DVDs

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've got to the stage where I'm gradually improving my mixing, but not as quickly as I'd like and I feel like I'm missing something.

Can anyone recommend any books or dvd that might provide some inspiration?

I have the 1st Q-Bert DVD and the movie "Skratch", both can tell you a bit about scratching,.. neither will help you mix better. Z-Trip's "How To Rock A Party" (included on the bonus DVD of Skratch), gives a few mixing tips, but nothing too useful.

I mix mostly deep, soulful house (if this helps!)

Us Brendan's have great taste!

Thanks for the links. I've actually already read your tutorials, and I must say, they were very useful.
