Topic: Pioneer DJS Software

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Pioneer is introducing there own mp3 Dj software to compete with Virtual Dj and others. This will be interesting. They must see a profit in this or they would not have taken this step. I figure they are going to introduce some computer based controllers to fill into a market that is wide open. And you can be sure they will deliver on time and it will be a good product. As for the software I don't think they know what they are getting into. This is a area where experience in this type of programing is needed. It won't be a stable program from the start but should mature over time. But that can make or break a company that has to start from sratch devloping a good dj program. Well we will see that is all we can do. Competition is the key to better software and more updates .

The Pioneer software have been around for a while....

And dont worry ;) virtual dj seems miles ahead, and I think it will continue to be in the lead development :)

Hi, I'm actually working at Pioneer Belgium and have tested that software.
It can't even come close to VDJ so don't look for it and stay with this one.
